Abstract

Education is not solely oriented toward cognitive aspects but also toward the development of students’ values and behavior. However, existing phenomena indicate that the internalization of positive values among students remains relatively low, as reflected in a lack of discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence in facing challenges. This condition highlights the need for more practical and applicable efforts to foster students’ character development and mental readiness. This community service activity aims to enhance students’ understanding of the importance of positive values in life and to strengthen their readiness to face future challenges. The method employed is Service Learning with a participatory approach, actively involving students through material delivery, discussions, and reflection. The activity was conducted at SMAN 1 Pandaan, with students serving as the primary participants. The results indicate an increase in students’ active participation, improved understanding of positive values, and greater confidence in expressing their opinions. In addition, students demonstrated more open attitudes and increased self-confidence. Therefore, this activity provides meaningful learning experiences and contributes to shaping students’ behavior and individual readiness in facing the dynamics of life.
